Good to know
Serif or sans? Compare them here
Bold has small serif details on the letters. Sans bold has cleaner strokes without those details. Both convert AโZ, aโz and 0โ9. Choose the preview that stays clear in your destination app.
A bold italic text generator, too
Bold italic and sans bold italic combine heavier strokes with a slant. Unicode provides these letter sets but no matching bold italic digits, so numbers stay unchanged in those two styles.
Unicode bold is different from HTML bold
The Copy button copies characters, not an HTML <strong> tag or a formatting command. This can work in plain-text fields that accept the characters, but it does not control the destination appโs font or formatting.
Questions
A few useful answers
Can I make numbers bold?
Yes. Bold and sans bold include Unicode digits. The two bold italic styles leave numbers unchanged because there is no corresponding bold italic digit alphabet.
Does this bold text work in a bio or message?
It produces plain text that you can paste into fields accepting these characters. Each app may render or restrict them differently. Check a short sample after pasting.
Why is my accented letter unchanged?
The mathematical bold alphabets used here do not include a bold counterpart for every accented character. Your original accented letter is preserved.
